How do I register for the upcoming event?

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that you'd wear to visit a friend in her home.

Can I bring my spouse?

No.  Moms only.  But, if your spouse is another Mom, bring her too.

Can I bring my children?  

No.  Moms only.

Do you provide childcare?

Sorry, we don't.  But if you need to find a babysitter, we can suggest resources to help.

How long is the program?

There will be two workshops of approximately 1 hour each followed by time to eat and drink together in the “Mom Salon.“

Will food be served?

Yes.  A nosh will be served after the workshops.

Can I get on your mailing list?

Yes.  You can sign up at the event and/or subscribe on our contact page.

My kids are older. Will you offer workshops for other aged children as well?

Yes.  We will be holding workshops for children of all ages - from babies to teen agers.  Stay tuned and make sure to join our mailing list.

I can't make it to this event.  Will there be others for this age group?

Yes.   Members of our mailing list will receive notices of all event for parents of children of all ages.  Stay tuned!

Will you be having any events in the evening for mothers that work full time in an office?

Yes.  Those are in the works, so do get on our mailing list to keep informed about upcoming programs.

Is there a discount for early sign-up?

Yes. We have “Early Bird Registration” at a lower price of $99 if you sign up before November 1st.

Do I need to do any preparation for the workshop?

No preparation is required.  But you may want to read the books the speakers will discuss.  Susan Nason teaches the lessons from “How to Talk So Kids Will Listen And Listen So Kids Will Talk.” Dina Rose wrote the book “It’s Not About the Broccoli.”

How can I invite other Moms?

You can email me at MomUp@MomUpNYC.com and ask for an invitation or head to our contact page and sign up.   You can also send them this link from Eventbrite.

How many people will attend?

While the exact number is not known, our goal is to balance a conversational environment with enough diverse viewpoints to learn from one another.

What is the cancellation policy?

The event fee is nonrefundable but if you cannot attend, just email us at MomUp@MomUpNYC.com and we can offer you a credit for another workshop in the future.
